I'm done with high school (still have to graduate though). Definitely time for something new.

I'm retarded.  My graduation party is Saturday, June 11th.  It's not the 4th.  I knew that when I posted before.  I just forgot how to deal with dates.

All right, my graduation party is probably going to be Saturday, June 4th. It's definitely going down sometime that weekend. If you're reading this, you're invited. Just tell me or something if you're coming. More details are coming.

So I'm almost completely sure that I'm going to Columbia next year unless I fall in love with Georgetown. Yay, I'm going to college.

It's 1:30 in the morning and I'm not the least bit tired.
01:30am 17/03/2005
Step 1: Get your playlist together, put it on random, and play!
Step 2: Pick your favorite lines from the first 25 songs that play!
Step 3: Post and let everyone you know guess what song the lines come from!
Step 4: Cross out the songs when someone guesses correctly!
ps: dont cheat. (I may or may not remember to do this part of it, but guess anyways)

1. "By the way you smell, I can tell that you're fifteen."
2. "Is this love of ours a lie? Is it killing me alive?"
3. "Everything...everything...everything...everything...in its right place."
4. "Red wine and sleeping pills help me get back to your arms. Cheap sex and sad films help me get where I belong."
5. "Dissect a trillion sighs away; will you get this letter? Jagged pulp sliced in my veins; I write to remember."
6. "Nothing like a smiling face - oh what a waste you've been. Clapham clowns stop your frowning - let it go, you're not alone; the river may keep you drowning."
7. "I resent you calling, I resent your voice, I resent that I don't have a choice."
8. "Sing it loud to drown out the feeling when you're feeling much more odd and half as true as dishonored seamen; we'll breathe Pacific and fight our demons."
9. "I'm taking one step sideways, leading with my crutch. Got a fucked up equilibrium, count down from 9 to 5. Hooray! We're gonna die! Blessed into our extinction."
10. "Is this a testament - what we always knew, looking so much more like you? We're both aging well. In bed we're crying out. Just let them try and replace me in you."
11. "Experi-peri-peri-peri-peri-peri-peri-peri-peri-peri-peri-peri-peri-peri..."
12. "Well I've cried and you'd think I'd be better for it, but the sadness just sleeps and it stays in my spine for the rest of my life. And I've learned, and you'd think I'd be something more now, but it just goes to show it's not what you know - it's what you were thinking at the time."
13. "So let me in, we'll sort it out. So let me in - I know your doubts."
14. "I'm a person just like you. But I've got better things to do than sit around and fuck my head, hang out with the living dead, snort white shit up my nose, or pass out at all the shows."
15. "I'm having trouble trying to sleep. I'm counting sheep but running out."
16. "Sleeping is giving in, no matter what the time is. Sleeping is giving in, so lift those heavy eyelids. People say that you'll die faster than without water. But we know it's just a lie, scare your son, scare your daughter."
17. "If you want to ride, don't ride the white horse."
18. "Each day is taking us closer while drawing the curtains to close. This far or further, I need to know. Your increasingly long embraces - are they saying sorry or please? I don't know what's happening, help me.
19. "Do you still walk the streets at night with the wanderlust you fight? Back to the corner where we went our separate ways."
20. "I am still a skeptic, yes you know me. Been best friends and will be 'til we die. I got an injection of love from the erection. My best friend thinks I'm just humping guys."
22. "A right turn gone wrong. Nothing but the dust left to fill your lungs up. Have to choke and choke and choke."
23. "Do you think that this could work out? Do you think you could come around? Do you think that this could work out again? I don't."
24. "Tell me, where is the love In a careless creation when there’s no 'above?' There’s no justice - just a cause and a cure and a bounty of suffering it seems we all endure. And what I’m frightened of is that they call it 'God’s love.'
25. "The broken watch you gave me turns into a compass. Its two hands still point to the same time - 12:03 - our last goodbye."

This was quite possibly the best birthday weekend I've ever had. Friday was pretty sick. Highlights include Puerto Vallarta in West Hartford, expensive cigars in the hot tub, and DDR into the wee hours of the morning. Saturday was just ill. Foof and I went to Clark to visit Ms. McCarthy and Bug. Last night was amazing. I can't wait for college. Thanks, everyone.

Oh wow. Life is good again. Stress has lowered, swimming's fine - stuff is generally going all right. Yay. Uhh, I wish I had something more exciting to say. Someone comment?

Your Dominant Intelligence is Logical-Mathematical Intelligence

You are great at finding patterns and relationships between things.
Always curious about how things work, you love to set up experiments.
You need for the world to make sense - and are good at making sense of it.
You have a head for numbers and math ... and you can solve almost any logic puzzle.

You would make a great scientist, engineer, computer programmer, researcher, accountant, or mathematician.

Okay, I haven't posted anything even relatively reflective in a while, and I feel obligated to say something New Yearsy. Thus, this entry.

This past year has been...I'm not sure. Lots of things have happened in my life and just in the world that make it really hard to classify the last twelve months as any one thing. Still, I can absolutely say I've changed. I'm not sure exactly how or if it's for better or worse, but I've changed. My values have solidified into some that are certainly different from before, my general view of the world has shifted - if nothing else, my hair is shorter (ha ha...). I seriously think I have some of the best friends I've ever had right now, and I hope that they remain my friends far beyond the next year. I know this whole year-end thing is really cliche and corny, but I'm still going to keep going.

I'm not sure what to expect for 2005. Of course I'm excited to graduate and all that, but I'm not sure what else. I've figured out that things really aren't worth anticipating sometimes because they either turn out differently or don't have the effect you were planning for. Umm, I guess I just hope things will work out in general. But at the same time, I'm sure things won't, because there's always something wrong. Whatever. It's the new year. It's new; it's not necessarily anything else.

Any thoughts?
